Activate Youth Power!

Teams of Code/Interactive students will design and build a cool product that aims to solve an important Youth problem of their choice. 

 

The problem can be one that....

1. Affects the group personally. 

2. Will affect youth in the future. 

3. Affects youth in other places.

Adopt-A-School Sponsor

Companies can pay for a school to attend by donating to cover the cost of food, transportation, technology, and event space. Cost for a company to participate in the Adopt-A-School program is a minimum $500 donation, but other amounts are accepted. If you need to send a check, invoice, or money order, please contact jules@weare.ci All volunteers should grab volunteer tickets, which are separate from this sponsorship ticket.

Technical Volunteer

Technical volunteers will help students to design and create their projects, mostly in Scratch, AppInventor, and HTML / CSS. Only a basic knowledge of coding is necessary, but you should feel comfortable mentoring middle and high school students. Donations are optional to attend the event, but all proceeds go toward our operations, food, and students transportation budget.
